Short answer: bed bug prep and deep cleaning in Chicago with Tailored starts from $543, custom quoted by home size and how much needs to be bagged and moved. We do the labor-heavy prep your pest control company asks for (bagging, decluttering, HEPA vacuuming) and the deep clean afterward.
We are a cleaning company, not a pest control company: we don't exterminate, spray pesticides or guarantee elimination. We clean and prepare the home so your licensed pest control provider's treatment can work, and we clean up afterward.
Good prep matters: most exterminators hand you a long checklist and may not treat a unit that isn't ready. We follow your provider's list exactly. If you don't have one yet, book your pest control treatment first, then send us the date and their instructions.
What's included

FAQ
Bed Bug Prep & Deep Cleaning, answered.
Do you exterminate bed bugs?
No. Tailored is a cleaning company, not pest control. We prepare the home for treatment and clean afterward, working alongside your licensed pest control provider.
What does bed bug prep cleaning include?
Bagging linens and clothing for hot-drying, decluttering so beds and baseboards are reachable, HEPA vacuuming mattress and furniture seams and carpets, and sealing and removing the vacuum bags. We follow your exterminator's checklist.
How much does bed bug prep cleaning cost in Chicago?
Our bed bug prep and deep cleaning starts from $543 and is custom quoted by home size and how many belongings need to be bagged and moved.
When should the post-treatment clean happen?
Only after your pest control provider says it's safe. Some treatments need residual products left undisturbed for a period, so we follow their timing.
