Your first clean
What to expect, start to finish.
Letting someone into your home for the first time is a big deal. Here's exactly how it goes, so there are no surprises.
Before the day
- You get a confirmed price and arrival window in writing.
- We ask about access, parking, building rules, pets and any rooms that are off-limits.
- We confirm the day before by text.
On the day
- The crew arrives in the window, unmarked on request, and introduces themselves.
- Shoes off or shoe covers on.
- A quick look together at priorities, if you're home.
- Room-by-room cleaning to the written checklist.
- A walk-through before we leave, or photos if you're away.
After
- We check in the next day.
- Anything missed? Tell us within 24 hours and we'll make it right (our re-clean policy).
- If you'd like recurring visits, we'll keep the same crew where we can.
FAQ
First-visit questions.
Do I need to be home for the first clean?
No. Many clients leave a key, lockbox code or doorman instructions. If you'd like to be there for the walk-through, that's welcome too.
Should I tidy before you come?
Please don't stress about it. If you can pick up clothes and personal papers we'll get further into the cleaning, but we'll work with whatever's there.
How long does a first clean take?
Longer than later visits, because the first one is a deep clean. We'll give you a time window when we book.
What do I need to provide?
Nothing, usually. We bring our supplies. If you prefer your own products, leave them out and tell us.
What if something is missed?
Tell us within 24 hours and we'll make it right.
